The syllabus for Tancet MBA is as follows:



  • Verbal Ability: Reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases, sentence correction, word analogies, etc.



  • Data Interpretation: Tables, graphs, charts, diagrams, etc.



  • Quantitative Ability: Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, number system, percentages, ratios, proportions, averages, mixtures, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, etc.



  • Logical Reasoning: Coding and decoding, blood relations, direction sense, syllogisms, puzzles, seating arrangements, series completion, analogy, classification, etc.



The admission process for Tancet MBA is as follows:



  • The candidate has to register online for the exam on the official website of Anna University and pay the application fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for reserved categories).



  • The candidate has to download the hall ticket from the website and appear for the exam at the allotted center.



  • The candidate has to check the result and download the mark sheet from the website.



  • The candidate has to apply online for counselling on the website of Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) and pay the counselling fee of Rs. 750 (Rs. 500 for reserved categories).

Who is E.S. Ramasamy?




E.S. Ramasamy (17 September 1879 24 December 1973), revered as Periyar or Thanthai Periyar, was an Indian social activist and politician who started the Self-Respect Movement and Dravidar Kazhagam in Tamil Nadu. He is known as the 'Father of the Dravidian movement'.
